Know These Before You Pursue Your Remarkable Passion Project

Your passion projects keep on bugging you for quite some time. You’re convinced that your idea is a bomb. Before you dive right into it, before you pursue your passion project, it is important to recognize some biblical principles behind your creative project idea.

Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Let this sink in: we were created to do good works.

Meaning, it is not an accident that you have “IT” in you.

Your Creativity is an Imprint of God’s Creativity in You

Whatever your passion project is, God has placed it in your heart for a reason. Our creative skills and talents are imprint of God’s creativity in us. You know why that passion project keeps on bugging you? It is because God wants you to experience Him through that passion project.

Your Ability to Create Manifests God’s Generosity

God gives us the ability to create and an avenue to be happy with the output that our hands can do. This is how generous and loving our God is. Imagine God during Creation – “And God looked upon all that He had made, and indeed, it was very good.” I believe He wants us to experience that same satisfaction whenever we pursue and accomplish our passion projects. Remember, we were created in Christ Jesus to do good works.

Your Passion Project is a Form of Worship

Just a word of caution: our passion projects should lead us into appreciation of God. It should lead us into worship. It must reflect God’s glory and creativity in us. All pursuits that do not include God will never satisfy. But if we involve Him in our pursuit of our passion projects, for sure your project will not just excite you but fill you with joy from the Lord.
